Most travel accessories are designed by people who do not travel very much.
You can tell. The adapters are bulky. The cables tangle. Every trip ends with the same check around the hotel room—making sure a charger has not been left behind the desk or an adapter is still plugged into the wall.
I built PackMode because I was tired of carrying a charging setup that created more problems than it solved.
Where This Started
I travel regularly between London, Istanbul and Beirut—sometimes for work, sometimes not. Different countries, different sockets and different hotel rooms.
Over time, I realised I was carrying more charging equipment than anything else: a universal adapter, separate chargers for my laptop and phone, and several cables for different devices.
Every trip raised the same questions. Did I bring the right plug for this country? Is the laptop cable in the bag? What did I leave connected behind the desk?
I work in sales. I move fast. I do not have time to think about cables.
The Problem With What Was Available
I looked at what was already on the market. Much of it fell into one of two groups: cheap and unreliable, or expensive but still awkward to travel with.
The individual products often worked. The overall setup did not.
Chargers, adapters and cables were designed and sold separately, leaving travellers to build the system themselves. That meant more pieces to buy, more to pack and more opportunities to bring the wrong item or leave something behind.
What PackMode Is
PackMode is a focused range of charging essentials designed around carry-on travel. Every live product has a clear role, and the range is selected to work together.
PACK 70 is the most flexible setup: a 70W travel charger with five USB ports, three AC sockets and built-in UK, EU, US and AU plug formats for use in 200+ countries.
DUO 65 is the lighter option for travellers who mainly need to charge two USB-C devices, such as a laptop and phone.
CORD is a 1m retractable USB-C cable that packs down neatly. LINE is a 2m braided USB-C cable for extra reach, with a display showing live charging wattage.
The goal is simple: travel with less, without arriving with less than you need.
How We Work
PackMode is a small, independent UK brand. The live range is personally used on real trips before being listed, and the product pages explain charging limits and compatibility in plain English.
Customer support stays close to the brand. If something goes wrong or you need help choosing the right setup, you will receive a reply from a real person.
We are not trying to become the biggest travel-accessories brand. We are building the one frequent travellers can trust.
